Calm Blue Ocean

Well, I saw my doctor and got the news, and yeah – it wasn’t very good 😑

It seems I do have Thoracic Outlet Syndrome (TOS) so on today’s agenda > Xray & CTscan.

An urgent referral has been sent to a surgeon so I’m also on standby for a phone call.

The damage with it being left undiagnosed for so long is “apparently” irreversible, so I’m trying my hardest to keep my emotions in check with the fact that the “medical experts” have failed me once again.

(chanting) calm blue ocean, calm blue ocean, calm blue ocean 😁

My doctor thinks that surgery is going to be my only option, but I’m really hoping that it can be sorted out, just with physio and exercise???

At the moment we don’t know if it’s neurogenic, venous, or arterial so I’m now in that process of further testing to determine which type it is?

FYI: nothing has been confirmed as yet, but it seems there is a link between TOS and Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome? but I’ll update it once I know for sure.

On a more positive note! 🤩

I’m working on a new M.I.T.M home page which is keeping my mind busy, so it’s great to have a distraction and not dwell on this latest bullshit diagnosis more than I should be.

NB: To anybody out there getting dismissed by the doctors, when you know deep down that something is wrong, YOU HAVE TO KEEP PUSHING FOR THE ANSWERS – even if it means getting a 2nd, 3rd, 4th or 5th opinion!

Hugs / Peace Out! Essie ❣
